Welcome to First Presbyterian Church, North Shore!

Whether you are looking for a church home, or you’re considering coming to church for the very first time, we are glad you’re here.  Whatever path you are on and whatever your story is, we’re happy you’re interested in finding out more about us.

More People, More Like Christ

First Presbyterian Church, North Shore exists by the grace of God with the vision to make more people more like Christ. We currently have two campuses—one in Ipswich and one in Danvers and we are committed to be a church that is characterized by worship in every aspect of our of lives (Exalt), to have members that are motivated and mobilized to use their gifts for God’s glory (Equip), and to embrace a comprehensive focus on missions both locally and globally (Extend).

Exalt. Equip. Extend.

Exalt in every moment…We are committed to worshiping the living God as a church and individually.  We seek to exalt our Creator in all aspects of life and in every circumstance.

Equip for every purpose…We invite the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.  We seek His work in our lives to be equipped and released for every purpose the Lord has in store for us.

Extend to everyone…We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is a life changing message communicated in word and deed, locally and globally.  We seek to love our neighbors as ourselves in the house next door or a people across the globe.

Our Church is guided by five core, missional values that we aim to manifest in all of our ministries:

We want to be faithful to the spreading of the gospel message so that more peoples would come to know the salvation of Jesus Christ. Romans 1:16

We believe that God calls us away from the status quo and to take risks by faith in His strength for the sake of God’s eternal Kingdom. The Lord calls His people to step out in faith that seems reckless. Yet that reckless abandonment to the will of the Lord brings glory and honor to Him.

Acts 20:24

We want the whole congregation to be involved in the work of the Great Commission so that we are an equipping and sending church.

Eph. 4:12-13

We want our ministries to be ever-refined through prayer, a Biblical assessment of global needs, and our church’s unique calling.

Acts 1:8

We are fueled by a desire to extend the worship of God among the nations.

Ps. 115
